See Victorian heritage combined with 21st-century engineering at Tower Bridge, getting a behind-the-scenes look at London's iconic river crossing. Peer through a glass floor high above the Thames, admire St. Paul's Cathedral, and wander the riverbanks for views of top city landmarks.

Begin at Sir Christopher Wren's magnum opus, St. Paul’s Cathedral. Stroll around the outside of this resplendent building and listen to an account of its history from your guide. Cross the River Thames via the Millennium Bridge and head to the South Bank, where you see famous sights such as the vast Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theater, and Sir Francis Drake’'s charming ship, the Golden Hind.

As you stand underneath The Shard, gaze up to see its angular lines reaching for the skies. Continue past City Hall—a great spot for a photo of the Tower of London on the opposite riverbank—before you arrive at Tower Bridge, London's world-famous suspension bridge.

Skip straight to the entrance of the Tower Bridge Exhibition, bypassing any queue. Inside the bridge, see the old Victorian engine rooms, which have been magnificently maintained over the years. Move down the high-level walkway to the tour's crowning glory, the glass floor. At 137 feet (42 m) above the river, it's a wonderful viewpoint from which to observe the Thames below as well as London.
