Évora is the capital of Alentejo. Learn why this evergreen-surrounded city is called City Museum. Visit one of the oldest cromleches in Europe, explore a Gothic church and its impressive Bones Chapel, and see the Roman Temple of Évora before ending with a taste of local olive oil.

Join a small-group tour and venture to the Portuguese countryside. As you drive toward Évora admire the charming emerald country landscapes and pass by quaint villages. Hear about Évora's well-preserved historical center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, and admire its stunning monuments. Your guide takes you to the impressive site of the Cromlech of the Almendres, one of the oldest collections of monolith stones in Europe, dating back more than 7,000 years.
