Description:
On a custom-built boat leave Maui behind to circumnavigate one of its closest neighbors—the island of Lanai. Explore the rugged coastline, snorkel in protected waters, pass shipwrecks stuck on outer reefs, and refuel with a deli-style lunch onboard.
At Ka’anapali Beach board a raft and head out to Sanity—a 46-foot (14-m) boat with ample space for up to 32 passengers. Cushioned seats, an onboard bathroom, and swim platforms are just some of the comforts on this vessel. A hard top covering ensures shade from the sun as you zip across the Pacific Ocean to another island paradise.
Traveling clockwise around the island, you journey along a pristine coast free of developments and other boats. Marvel at the ever-changing landscape of sand, rugged lava formations, cliffs, and caves while the captain seeks a spot in calm water perfect for both novice and experienced snorkelers. Take one of the loading ladders to the water and look for green sea turtles and dolphins while exploring the coral reef.
Dive down to get a closer look at the sea creatures or comfortably float on the surface for an overview of the colorful ocean floor. After a freshwater rinse on the boat, enjoy lunch consisting of a variety of sandwiches and wraps, potato salad, pasta salad, vegetables, and fresh fruit.
