Start your day with the sanctuary's main attraction: the koala bears. Super laid-back, watch these furry friends lounging among eucalyptus—or just munching on them—from a mere few feet away. One of the only places in the world where you can actually hold a koala, opt for photographic evidence of your adorable and memorable cuddle (additional fee).

Post-snuggle, set off to explore other species of Australia's diverse wildlife. Enter the first walk-through reptile house in the country, equipped with an array of snakes, lizards, and other cold-blooded critters. Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for the camouflaged ones lurking in the corners of their cages.
