Description:
Set out on a remarkable 3-day journey and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mount Kinabalu. Visit Poring Hot Springs before taking on the spectacular Crocker Range, and hike up to the tallest peak between the Himalayas and New Guinea.
Begin your tour with a morning pickup that takes you to Poring Hot Springs. Take a refreshing dip in the hot, medicinal sulfur springs or ascend up to the 135-foot-high (41-m) canopy walk for an amazing view of the rainforest. Enjoy a delicious lunch and dinner before taking a rest at the park headquarters.
After your breakfast on Day 2, collect your ID Tag and meet your guide. Proceed to Timpohon Gate, where your quest to conquer the summit of Borneo's highest mountain begins.
Test your limits as you enjoy your hike up to 10,375 feet (3,272 m), passing by various types of flora from oak and chestnut to captivating alpine greenery alongside various birds and wildlife on your way to Laban Rata Rest House.
Rest and take a break after a buffet dinner, then wake up around 2 AM for some supper before your hike to the 13,435-foot (4,095-m) summit of Low's Peak. You get to enjoy a spectacular view of sunrise above the clouds of Mt. Kinabalu before descending back to Laban Rata, followed with a trek down to Timpohon Gate.
Collect your Certificate of Achievement at the Kinabalu Park Headquarters and stop by the Balsam restaurant for afternoon tea before taking your journey back to Kota Kinabalu.
