Description:

Escape to the charming Phang Nga Bay, also known as James Bond Island—only a short distance off the Krabi coast via speedboat. Have a day at your leisure, take a break on the beach, explore a mangrove forest or a hidden cave, and explore the pearl-breeding fishing village of Koh Panyee.

Start your day trip in the morning with a pickup from your hotel, and head to the jetty where the speedboat takes you over to the picturesque James Bond Island. As you arrive, be amazed by its vast white sandy beaches and crystal-clear blue water.

Take time to take a break on the beach, snooze in the sun, or swim in the waters. Don’t miss taking pictures of the majestic limestone karst pillars jutting out of the ocean—the filming site for the famous 1974 James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun.

Next, hop aboard the speedboat to explore the exotic mangrove forest and hidden cave and look out for the diverse local flora and fauna. Break for a delicious Thai lunch right next to the beach of Koh Panyee, overlooking the spectacular bay.

Continue to the native fishing village in Koh Panyee and be fascinated by their unique culture and tradition. Marvel at the architectural structure of their house-on-stilts and learn about the intricate process involved in cultivating pearls.

Have time to go shopping for memorable handmade crafts and locally-bred pearls at the village before hopping on the speedboat back to the jetty, where your transfer to the hotel awaits you.
