Description:
Experience the thrill of surfing with a lesson amid the charming scenery of Kauai's North Shore. Learn the skills you need to catch the waves with expert instructors, both on land and in the gentle waters in Hanalei Bay.
Check in at the surf shop in Hanalei before hitting the beach with your instructor. While you're there, spend some time watching the water and learn some ocean safety techniques. Pick up some proper placement and paddling techniques on the sandy shore before you take your board in hand and head out into the warm tropical water.
Paddle your soft-top surfboard out to the breaks just off the beach, with your instructor offering guidance along the way. Once you're in position, aim the board at the shore and wait for your perfect first ride. Feel the satisfaction as a gentle wave propels you towards the coast, make a soft water landing, and get back on the board for another ride.
