Description:
Explore Kangaroo Island, escorted in comfort and style in a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. Enjoy morning tea before venturing out to see native Australian animals in their natural habitat. Then break for a lunch of fresh fish and wine prior to your afternoon tour.
Begin your day trip with a cup of tea and some delicious homemade cakes before taking a walk down a country trail. Be amazed by tall eucalyptus trees, the natural habitat of koalas. As you pass through these trees, listen for koalas snoozing or catch them feeding on tree leaves.
Continue your tour with a scenic farm drive to the north coast until you reach Lathami Conservation Park. Walk through the bush with your guide and look for Australia's most iconic animal, the kangaroo, as well as endangered species like wallabies.
Later, refresh at a private bush location and feast on a delicious lunch featuring the King George whiting (a local favorite), fresh salad, halloumi cheese, and South Australian wine. Afterward, head to Seal Bay Conservation Park and walk with your guide among sea lions lazing on a charming sandy beach. Learn about this unique colony as you watch their pups nursing.
