Description:
Enjoy 2 days to explore Kangaroo Island on this guided tour. Take in the coastal views, unique landscape, and wildlife with visits to attractions such as Seal Bay and Flinders Chase National Park.
Depart from Adelaide in the morning for a scenic ride through the south coast to Cape Jervis. Then embark on a 45-minute ferry cruise to Kangaroo Island. Upon arrival, visit Clifford's Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper. Break for a sumptuous 2-course lunch at Vivonne Bay Bistro.
Enjoy a guided beach walk at Seal Bay, observing a colony of rare, wild Australian sea lions. Then experience the fascinating Birds of Prey flight show, an interactive show with native birds and raptors. Later in the afternoon, head to Kingscote to watch a pelican feeding and learn about these ancient birds. After, enjoy an overnight stay at your selected accommodation.
On day 2, visit the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and sample some of their eucalyptus products. Then feed kangaroos and encounter other native animals at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park. Journey to Hanson Bay Sanctuary and look for koalas in the trees.
Explore Flinders Chase National Park with a walk along the rugged southern coastline. Admire the beauty of the majestic Remarkable Rocks and capture the amazing formation on camera. Then walk along the Admirals Arch boardwalk, a natural nursery for fur seals.
