Description:
Tour the oval-shaped Jeju Island, and explore its beauty on this full-day coach tour. Stop at famous spots like Hallim Park and Suweolbong Peak before you break for your tasty Korean lunch. Plus, visit the Spirited Garden, Althr Airfield, and Mt. Sanbang.
Begin your coach tour with convenient pickup from your hotel, and then travel to Hallim Park, 20 miles (33 km) away from the city. Marvel at the lush botanic, bonsai, and water gardens before you tour the Hyeopjaegul and Ssangyonggul caves, which were formed by a volcanic eruption from Mt. Hallasan 25 million years ago.
Next, enjoy excellent scenery overlooking Chagwido Island and the splendid volcanic rocks from Suweolbong Peak. Alternatively, on rainy days, stop at the O’Sulloc Museum to learn about Korea’s traditional tea culture. Break for a tasty local lunch before making your way to the Spirited Garden, the world’s largest botanical garden, which features maple trees, wisterias, and pine trees that are nearly 300 years old.
Later, stop at the Althr Airfield, a Japanese base during the Chinese-Japanese war. Then, explore the incredible Mt. Sanbang, a mountain with an interior cave. Climb to the peak, and then see the spectacular view out over the ocean, 492 feet (150 m) above sea level.
Before your tour concludes, choose to take a break by the strong gush of a waterfall at Cheonjeyeon, or spend time admiring Seoul’s history, art, and culture. You can also learn about the teddy bear’s history at the Teddy Bear Museum.
