Description:

Introduce yourself to South Korea’s largest island, Jeju, on this guided coach tour. Enjoy the mystical Trick Eye Museum, visit the Seongeup Folk Village, see a female diver show, and take in the gorgeous coastline of the island on this full-day trip.

Board your comfortable coach, sit back, and take a break as your attentive driver takes you to the amazing Trick Eye Museum. Break out your camera and pose with the optical illusions that are guaranteed to deceive your eyes. Then, travel to Seongeup Folk Village to gain an insight into the everyday lives of the locals who used to live in straw-roofed houses. Before you leave, be sure to spot the stone statues of old men standing guard over the village.

Later, replenish your nutrients with a delicious Korean lunch before making your way to see a female diver show. Watch as these ladies in diving suits—without any special gear or scuba tools—swim in the cold water to catch fresh seafood such as clams, abalone, and seaweed. If rough sea conditions prevent the show, head to the Haenyeo Museum and learn about the centuries-old culture of these female divers through numerous art exhibits.

Next, make your way to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed some 100,000 years ago, climb to the top to get a bird’s-eye view of the huge crater at the summit. Take in the majestic view of the island’s easternmost point while you are here. Afterward, travel along Jeju’s fantastic coastline as you arrive at another World Heritage Site, the Manjang Cave. Be amazed at its lava tunnels, some of the finest in the world, before you return to your hotel.
