Savor great Australian wine and food while touring the country’s premier wine-producing region. Join a small group tour and hit the road to Hunter Valley for some winetasting at some of this renowned area's most well-respected wineries.
Leave bustling Sydney behind you and cross over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge in a luxury minibus to the charming wine region of Hunter Valley. Travel through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, over the Hawkesbury River, and witness picturesque sandstone cliffs, mountains, and parklands. Stop for morning tea at the historical town of Wollombi, full of birds and quaint small-town vibes.
Continue to the Hunter Valley, where your wine-tasting experience begins. Taste wines at famous family-run vineyards, exciting new ones such as Brokenwood, Draytons, Tempus II, or Oakvale, and smaller, more exclusive wineries. Sit down for a delicious lunch and a glass of wine in the heart of the vineyards.
Visit 2 more wineries in the Hunter Valley in the afternoon. Finish with a final visit, specially tailored by your guide, to a small family winery, a larger estate, or possibly a special place requested by someone on the tour. The day concludes along a scenic freeway leading back to Sydney.
