Description:

Discover the stunning scenery of the Tasman Peninsula's coastline and the rock formations of Tasman Arch and the Devil's Kitchen on this spectacular full-day tour. Hear stories from Australia's convict era on a visit to Port Arthur, and take a short cruise through the harbor.

Leave Hobart for a day's journey out to the Tasman Peninsula and enjoy incredible views of the shoreline as you travel through Tasman National Park. See the amazing Waterfall Bay and stop at Tasman Arch to take some great photos of the huge blowhole near the imposing rocks known as the Devil's Kitchen.

Arrive at Port Arthur and join your guide for a walking tour through the UNESCO World Heritage Site and open-air museum. Discover grim and violent stories from the former penal station as you tour the ruins and restored buildings that once housed the unfortunate convicts who were shipped here. Visit the penitentiary, a former granary and flour mill, and other historic sites.

Next, take a short cruise out to visit the Isle of the Dead for insight into the people who lived and died at Port Arthur. On your journey back to Hobart, sample some chocolates at the Federation Chocolate Factory, and then stop at Richmond Village for some time to explore Australia's oldest bridge still in use and the gorgeous historic town.

Your tour comes to an end at a local lookout with marvelous views of Hobart and Mount Wellington.
