On this full-day tour, explore the stunning rainforest of Mount Field National Park and the majestic Russell Falls. Enjoy the wilderness, marvel at the tall tree ferns, and walk through the untouched Pandani Grove Trail.

Leave Hobart for a day and journey to Mount Field National Park with stunning vistas, great walks, and abundant wildlife to explore. As you wander through the forest, observe the cascading drops of Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls before continuing to the summit of Mount Field. With its well-recognized floristic diversity, the trail takes you toward the Tall Trees Track to witness one of the most spectacular towering swamp gums that measures up to 262 feet (90 m) in height.

Walk on to encounter some of the park’s unique alpine species on the Pandani Grove Trail. Meander around Lake Dobson, which sits surrounded by amazing wilderness and fresh mountain air. Take some time to breathe in the fresh mountain air with a short break within the Mount Field wilderness.

Later, visit Australia’s popular Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to get up-close and feed rehabilitated animals such as the Tasmanian devils, wallabies, bettongs, and many others. Once you’ve spent quality time with the incredible animals and have learned a few fun facts about them, complete your tour with a final stop at the summit of Mount Wellington for breathtaking views of its cliff tops and the coastline in the distance.
