Description:

Take home the ultimate souvenir from Hawaii—a PADI scuba-diving certification. A master diver takes you through pool lessons and ocean dives to get you certified to scuba-dive anywhere in the world.

Grab reading material and show up prepared to be quizzed on chapters 1–3 on the first day. Then it is time to go over the dive gear and jump in for the first pool lesson with your expert instructor. Learn basics such as clearing your mask and how to descend underwater by deflating your vest.

The second day takes you to some of the best spots in the area for your first open water dive. With your instructor guiding you every step of the way, descend to shallow depths—no more than 40 feet (12 m)—giving you the very first glimpse into the world of scuba diving and exploring colorful reef systems. A review of additional chapters follows the dives.

On the third day, be prepared for the final exam and another pool session covering additional skills. On the last day of your course, complete final paperwork and go for more open ocean dives. This time, be prepared for greater depths and new sights as you plunge to depths of 60 feet (18 m).

If you have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, or have suffered a stroke, you may not take part., It is a safety requirement that you do not participate in this activity the same day that you fly; please plan your activity accordingly., You should study the online course packet or PADI certification manual before the activity., This activity spans over 4 days., Check-in is 15 minutes prior to booked tour start time.
