Description:

Board a comfortable passenger plane for a scenic flight to the Grand Canyon, looking down for unobstructed panoramas of the serpentine Colorado River and dramatic, carved-out gorges of the Nevada desert before landing at the South Rim for a guided tour and gourmet lunch.

A 40-minute flight from Vegas in a Beechcraft 1900D airplane takes you over expanses of red rock and arid landscape to the Bright Angel Lodge and the Grand Canyon Village Historic District. Here, spend an hour wandering the paths and scoping out vantage points along the Rim Trail.

Next, make your way to Mather Point with your knowledgeable guide leading the way. Famous for a reason, this rocky perch provides jaw-droppoing vistas and a chance to tiptoe right to the edge of this vast natural wonder. When you’ve had your fill of photos, peruse the resources and displays at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center to learn more about the natural, cultural, and geological features of the park.
