Ride over the waves on a comfortable ferry to Hamilton Island. More than 75% of this pristine isle is uninhabited, and its famed beaches, lively marina, and charming resort offer plenty of opportunities for fun and take a breakation. Hop onto a shuttle in the marina and ride by scenic lookout points on your way to Wildlife Hamilton Island.

At this hands-on nature reserve, join in a guided tour to follow an expert keeper from habitat to habitat. Get up close to kangaroos and koalas, watch slithering snakes and lizards basking in the sun, and see if you can count the teeth on the fearsome giant crocodile.

Grab a typically Australian bite to eat with a plate of fresh fish and chips at Popeye's Takeway, then head down to the Hamilton Island Resort Centre. Challenge your crew to a round of bowling (kid-attentive bumpers ensure everyone gets a shot at a strike) and then head to the beach.

The white sand curve of Catseye Beach is the ideal spot to nap beneath rustling palms, snorkel next to sea turtles, or make a splash with watersports like sea kayaking and stand up paddling.
