Description:
Travel along one of the world's most spectacular scenic routes, the Great Ocean Road. Take in stunning coastal scenery, journey through lush rainforest in Great Otway National Park, spot koalas and kangaroos, and witness the world-famous 12 Apostles.
Leave Melbourne behind and hop aboard a comfortable air-conditioned coach that takes you along the dramatic coastline via the Great Ocean Road. During your ride, hear the story behind construction of the road, an Australian National Heritage-listed site, and spot splendid landmarks and natural wonders.
Your first stop is the seaside town of Apollo Bay. Stroll around and take in the landscape of rolling green hills and ocean. Continue to the lush Otway rainforest, where some of the tallest eucalyptus trees in Australia are found. If the weather permits, go for a guided bushwalk through the forest and spot koalas resting in the trees.
Continue your journey to the legendary 12 Apostles, a famous natural limestone rock formation. As you walk along the boardwalk, have your camera ready and admire the breathtaking shoreline from the cliff top.
Discover the history of Shipwreck Coast and visit Loch Ard Gorge, the site of the tragic Loch Ard clipper shipwreck. Enjoy even more incredible coastal views over myriad rock formations, including Island Archway, before your return trip to Melbourne.
