Description:

Leave the city for the green countryside and quaint villages of the Cotswolds on this full-day tour. Visit 17th- and 18th-century buildings, medieval homes, waterside cafes, and charming stone streets in the villages of Burford, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Broadway.

Depart from Victoria station and begin a scenic drive toward the Cotswolds. Your first stop is the small town of Burford, one of the most charming villages in the United Kingdom. Enjoy free time to walk alongside the riverfront, passing charming, centuries-old houses built from stone and quaint shops peddling delicious cheeses and lovely antiques.

Continue on to the village of Bibury, which flourished in the 14th century as a producer of woolen garments. Stroll through this perfectly picturesque village before continuing on to Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the Little Venice of the Cotswolds for the river Windrush that winds through the town center, its weeping willows and quaint bridges, and its abundance of waterside restaurants. Enjoy some free time to grab lunch if you’d like or just wander and snap pictures of this highly photogenic locale.

Finally, make your way to your fourth destination in the Worcestershire hills—the village of Broadway, nicknamed the Jewel of the Cotswolds. Walk down the vibrant High Street, admire the stone façade of the 16th-century Lygon Arms hotel, and ask your assistant any lingering questions about the area before your return ride to London.
