Description:
See some of the largest crocodiles in captivity at Crocosaurus Cove, and then join a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Darwin. To finish the day, upgrade to an optional sunset cruise.
Make your own way to Crocosaurus Cove for some crocodile adventures and thrills. Enter the world of majestic saltwater crocodiles and get up close and personal with a swim alongside them, in a safe and unique swimming enclosure. Watch the jumping croc feeding and walk through the crocs museum with a large display of Australian reptiles.
Enjoy a take a breaking lunch at the locals' favorite place, the Tap Bar, before your Darwin city tour begins. For your first stop, visit the Chinese Temple and stroll through the Botanic Gardens. Next, gain insights into Australia’s WWII history and the bombing of Darwin. Pass by historic sites of the city including the East Point Military Precinct, Mooring Basin, and the Stokes Hill Wharf area. There is also time to explore the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, displaying Aboriginal art, visual arts, history, and natural sciences.
At the end of the tour you have the option to board a cruise along Darwin’s harbor for an interactive cultural experience. Learn to throw a spear and create traditional Aboriginal crafts, then sit back and take a break as you watch the sunset.
