Description:
Take flight and soar through the lush Daintree Rainforest canopy, high above the ground on an exhilarating zip lining adventure. Rush past treetops, breathe in the forested air, and soak up sweeping vistas that stretch from the vast jungle all the way to the Coral Sea.
Join your experienced zip line guide and ecology expert as you set off on your sky-surfing excursion. At the Harnessing Center, begin with a brief safety rundown and introduction to basic zip line techniques before you emerge fully prepared into the Daintree Rainforest.
Jumpstart your jungle run on the Human Hamster Wheel. The first of its kind, this open-latticed, drum-like mechanism hoists you up to the initial treetop platform. After ascending to the skies, speed along 5 thrilling zip lines, some reaching up to 65 feet (20 m) in the air.
Your guide controls the speed of every zip line, allowing you to experiment with a variety of acrobatic poses to optimize your view as you glide along each jaw-dropping course. Try out fearless tactics while swinging between the trees—from a standard sitting style, to a trip backwards, or even an adrenaline-pumping ride upside down.
