Equal parts laid-back and lively, Fort Kochi’s stretch along the Malabar Coast is best seen from the back of a bicycle. This guided, 2-wheeled excursion weaves from the city's waterfront to historic in-land communities, offering you a colorful and comprehensive glimpse into life as a true local.

Greet your guide, grab those handlebars, and pedal along the morning seaside bustle of Kochi’s fish market. Check out the traditional Chinese fishing tactics in action—these massive fixed-land installations allow fisherman to submerge large nets, and scoop hefty hauls of fish and crustaceans directly from the water.

From here, cycle towards Bazaar Road. As you explore this vibrant street—lined with spice warehouses and eclectic storefronts—slow your pace and inhale the passing scents of ginger, cardamom, cumin, cloves, and more. Then, take a break for a cup of steaming tea at a local-favorite tea shop.

Continue on to the Muslim and Hindu areas of Mattenchery and Palace Road, where you can see a variety of temples and vivid produce markets.
