Description:

A thrilling adventure awaits you on the northeast coast of Mauritius. Kayak out over the calm sea to the rocky shores of Ile d'Ambre. Meander through mangrove-flanked channels observing the diverse environment as you go. Refresh yourself with drinks and snacks before returning to the mainland.

Before you take to the water, complete a short safety briefing to prepare you for your journey. Follow your guide and paddle through the turquoise water to the picturesque island. Protected by the outer reef the warm waters here are calm—nearly perfect for kayaking. Explore the shores of the island as well as the mangrove forest spilling over into the sea, creating an aura of intrigue about the interior.

After you beach your vessel, recuperate with tasty snacks and cool drinks brought by your guide. Learn more about the island's delicate ecosystem, about it's native vegetation and marine environment. Admire the view on your way back to the main island as you return from this maritime expedition.
