Begin your day with pickup from your hotel and a short drive up north toward Chiang Rai. Stop at the Mae Khajan area to pamper yourself and unravel at the hot-spring bath, popular with locals who need a little rest.

Next, visit the hill-tribe villages of Yao and Akha. Interact with the locals and uncover their daily routines, customs, and heritage.
