Description:

Wander the grounds and interiors of some of Chiang Mai's 300 Buddhist temples, including a few of this capital city's most significant 14th-century temples. Along the way, savor a traditional Thai lunch, go on a cruise, and top off your day with a take a breaking 1-hour Thai massage.

Your tour begins with a visit to Three Kings Monument, an iconic representation that depicts the legend of 3 rulers that came together more than 700 years ago to plan the new capital city of Chiang Mai. Then, at the Lanna Folklife Museum, one of Thailand's most technologically advanced museums, learn about the Lanna Dynasty.

Picture the former glory of Chedi Luang Temple, Northern Thailand's largest pagoda, before a lunch which features the Northern Thailand specialty khao soi (curry noodles). On a longtail boat, cruise along the Mae Ping River, known as the “lifeline of the province,” and enjoy an hour-long excursion to a rural farmhouse for a glimpse of local life and customs.
