Description:

Dive into the water off the shores of Cancun, home to one of the world's largest barrier reefs, for a lesson in scuba diving from a PADI-certified instructor. No experience is needed for this introductory dive, and you can choose between a visit to the reef and the unique MUSA underwater museum.

Before you set out, learn how to use your scuba equipment and get used to breathing underwater in the comfort of a swimming pool. Once you've become accustomed to your gear, journey to your dive location and dive into crystal-clear waters no more than 40 feet (12 m) deep.

Once you're immersed in the ocean, marvel at a wide range of corals and marine life, including blue tangs, angelfish, moray eels, and turtles. Watch as bubbles good-naturedly float to the surface while tropical fish dance before your eyes.

If you choose the MUSA as your diving location, you can admire the fascinating coral-covered sculptures spread around the seabed in one of the world's most unique galleries. At the reef, admire the spectacular array of undersea flora and fauna that call the area home. Head back to the surface after a truly magical experience that leaves you longing for more.
