See the natural wonders and cultural landmarks of Barbados on this full-day tour of the island. Visit artisan pottery shops, botanical gardens, rocky beaches, historic plantation buildings, and massive, luminous Harrison's Cave.

Begin your hands-on experience of Barbadian culture at Earthworks, where you can see cobalt vases, whimsically painted clay pottery, and red ceramics being made by skilled artisans.

Admire their wares, and then make your way to the Flower Forest. This 53.6-acre (21-ha) botanical preserve has lush flora, tropical flowers, and sweeping views of the verdant Scotland district and jagged Chalky Mount. Stroll along the palm-framed trails, and then head along the rugged east coast to Bathsheba. Named for the well-groomed wife of King David, Bathsheba’s rocky pools and mineral-rich waters supposedly have beautifying and therapeutic effects.

After a stop for lunch, wind through the sugar cane fields and mahogany trees of Cherry Tree Hill to St. Nicholas Abbey. This stunningly landscaped, 17th-century plantation home was built in the Jacobean style just 30 years after the British settled on Barbados.

The last stop of your tour is at Harrison’s Cave, a mystical, underground cavern that was forgotten for nearly 200 years before being reexploreed and opened to the public in the 1980s. Ride a tram through its eerie, echoing galleries, marvel at its bizarre mineral formations, and admire its subterranean waterfall before returning to your hotel.
