Description:

On this 2-day biking adventure, cruise over the country roads as you travel to the south of Thailand, admire the tapioca fields, and camp overnight before you explore the Khao Kheow Open Zoo. Have breakfast with an orangutan and take breaks to indulge in local Thai cuisine along the way.

Day 1
Your excursion begins as you make your way to the Ancient City. Here, appreciate the traditional Thai architecture of the buildings and then gear up on your bicycle to pedal through the old city and over roads with ample shade. Afterward, pack up and head to Nong Kho Reservoir where hard-packed dirt roads lead you off the beaten track.

View the vast pineapple and tapioca fields as you ride to a local restaurant for an appetizing lunch. When you reach Khao Kheow Open Zoo, get comfortable in your safari-style tent and venture out at night for the After Dark Night Safari to see the mysterious creatures of the night in their natural habitat.

Day 2
At breakfast with Suriya the orangutan, appreciate the antics of your quirky guest and then hop on your bike to see the zoo animals in the daylight. But look out for deer and monkeys that roam free. As you stroll through the huge aviary, marvel at the waterfalls, ponds, and flora that create a natural environment for the birds and then rest your feet in an air-conditioned vehicle on the drive back to Bangkok.
