Whether you want to call it Twilight, The Blue Hour or Golden Hour, there is no denying that the 30-minutes before sunset are perhaps the most magical moments of the day.

The sun passing beyond the horizon signifies that twilight will fall, transforming the sky from shades of red into hues of blue. As the sun moves quickly toward the horizon, we see a rapid change in the angle, color, and intensity of the light, making this time loved by artists the world over. How many great works of art can you think of where the beauty of The Blue Hour is immortalized on canvas?

While we can’t all be budding Van Goghs or Matisses, we can use our creativity to make up this delicious Dry Martini-style cocktail. Butterfly pea flowers add a beautiful blue hue to the cocktail, while the addition of Gin and Rum give a cocktail packed full of flavor.
